Tehran, April 26, IRNA -- Greater Tunb and Lesser Tunbs and Abu Musa Islands are integral parts of Iran and no power can separate them from it, said a member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission.Referring to the baseless comments of the UAE’s foreign minister on the islands, he said that raising such issues will harm regional security, which is favored by the alien powers present in the region.
While Iran organized the first conference on nuclear disarmament in the region to signal the message of peace and friendship to the world, the UAE minister’s statements indicate a contradictory policy seeking to tarnish realities in the region, he said.
“If the region faces a critical condition, those who raise such issues will suffer more than the others,” Falahat-Pisheh said.
Countries like UAE have provided foreign powers with bases in their own territories, he said, noting that they move their countries toward dependency.
