A lot of smartphone users are freaking out.
That's because one of the hottest topics on the internet is a recently discovered program built into smartphones .
Not only does it track your location, it records your keystrokes, and you can't turn it off.
The application is called "Carrier IQ."
It's on most Android phones as well as BlackBerry and Nokia devices.
The designers of "Carrier IQ" say the program collects data in hopes of gaining insight into customers experience with their smartphones, and thereby improve performance.
Not everybody is satisfied with that explanation.
Privacy advocates say this is another major intrusion into your personal life.
"ABC15 Now!" wants to know what you think.
Is "Carrier IQ" too big brother for your taste?
Would you consider getting a new phone if you found out information about where you've been and what you've searched for are being tracked?
